Just wrapped a featured role in Frankie and Alice (release 2009) starring Halle Berry, the lead in the independent film INDELIBLE (release 2009), and an appearence in BROOKLYN'S FINEST (release 2009), starring Don Cheadle and Richard Gere, Rosalyn’s film credits include: VANILLA SKY, OUR SONG, BROWN SUGAR, HOOK'D UP, EVERYONE'S DEPRESSED, THE WINDOW, THE OPPORTUNIST and MUSIC OF THE HEART. Television appearances include: Recurring roles on NBC’s KIDNAPPED, DC on the WB and HBO’s OZ. Guest starring roles on NEW AMSTERDAM on FOX, NYPD BLUE, NY UNDERCOVER, and several appearances on LAW & ORDER SVU and LAW & ORDER CRIMINIAL INTENT, and the television pilot OUT OF COMMISSION. In 2002, with her husband and partner Craig T. Williams, Rosalyn formed Red Wall Productions, a film Production Company. Rosalyn has created, cast and directed over fifty film projects. Including award winning short films, industrials, music concerts, promotional videos, educational videos and actor demo reels. Rosalyn is the director of the award winning short film ALLERGIC TO NUTS written by husband Craig. ALLERGIC TO NUTS has been seen on several TV stations nationally and screened in over 50 film festivals in the US and around the world. Recently Rosalyn was awarded “Emerging Filmmaker 2008” at the Cine Noir Film Festival in the busy film production city of Wilmington, North Carolina. At that same festival, Rosalyn’s latest short film DRAWING ANGEL was named Best Short Film. Other film director credits include: DRIVING FISH, BROKEN, THE STARTER MARRIAGE, LAYLA'S MOURNING, WHAT I WOULDN'T GIVE FOR A GOOD CIGAR, TWISTED, ENDS & BEGINNINGS, THREE WEEKS IN HELL, SCRAMBLED SOFTLY and WOULD I LIE TO YOU. Director of the re-enactment portion in the groundbreaking documentary BLACK SORORITY PROJECT, her next directorial assignment will be the feature film "Forty Third Street" (working title), slated to begin production 2009. Rosalyn is co-host and co-creator of Everything Acting Podcast an internet radio show that informs, inspires and demystifies the actor’s journey. With over 10,000 downloads every month, Everything Acting Podcast is the number one Podcast for acting in iTunes. One of the most sought after audition coaches in New York, Rosalyn loves to teach. She was hand picked by Coach to the Stars Margie Haber to be the east coast representative of her world famous studio, “The greatest pleasure for me as a teacher is to facilitate the person to reach their humanity. I want my clients to leave the room knowing their personal power as a base to communicate anything that a human is capable of experiencing.” Margie Haber, who has personally coached Brad Pitt, Halle Berry and Heather Locklear, trained Rosalyn to teach her Cold Reading Technique. Rosalyn has also taught at Actor's Connection, Howard University and Duke Ellington School of the Arts. Rosalyn just wrapped coaching a young actor on set for HBO's In Treatment's, second season, a very proud accomplishment. Rosalyn graduated Cum Laude with a BFA from Howard University and with an MFA from Yale Drama School. At her graduation from Yale she received the prestigious Carol Dye Award, the only award given for acting. During her tenure in show business Rosalyn has worked with Meryl Streep, Angela Bassett, Charles Dutton, Tom Cruise, Danny Glover, Christopher Walken, Samuel L. Jackson, Delroy Lindo and Alfre Woodward. She has worked with writers August Wilson, Craig Lucas, Sarah Schulman and Walter Mosley all on new projects. Directors include Lloyd Richards, Arthur Penn, Cameron Crowe, Marion McClinton, Regge Life, Phillip Rose, Israel Hicks, Oz Scott, and Wes Craven. Rosalyn has written and performed one person shows at Manhattan Class Company, Shooting Gallery and Baby Jupiter among others. Rosalyn is a member of New York Women in Film and Television, the East Coast Writers Collective and a lifetime member of the Actors Studio. An avid tennis player, for fun Rosalyn and Craig are currently self publishing a book of short stories, essays and original scripts.
