Angel Gardner
Director of Communications
& New Project Development

Angel is currently working on research and development of the first in Red Wall Productions' Digital Preservation Project series, the "African American Actor Archive." She is serving as Associate Producer of the short film "Allergic to Nuts" and is working as a marketing and administrative associate for Red Wall Productions.
Gardner has a career in arts management and administration that spans more than a decade. She has worked for many notable cultural organizations such as Arts International, MassMoCA, Yale Repertory Theatre, the International Festival of Arts & Ideas, New York University, H-Art Management, New Federal Theatre, and in 2003 she served as Administrator, New York City Host Committee for the 45th GRAMMY® Awards. Gardner served for 4 years as Associate Director of Artist Services for Brooklyn Academy of Music where she managed the engagements of world-class artists and companies that included Mark Morris Dance Group, Betty Carter, Les Arts Florissants, Robert Wilson, Philip Glass, Saburo Teshigawara, Peter Brook, The Royal Dramatic Theatre of Sweden, Jonathan Miller, and the late Georgio Strehler. As a freelance tour manager, Gardner oversaw domestic engagements of Mikhail Baryshnikov's White Oak Dance Project, STREB, Soloists of the Moscow Conservatory and Batsheva Dance Company. She recently served as a Production Assistant and Press Representative for the short film, "Gypsy Girl," written, produced and directed by Susana Tubert. Gardner holds a BA in Art from Goshen College and an MFA in Theater Management from Yale School of Drama.
